Principal development is a critical lever to drive school improvement efforts, achieve states’ equity goals, and ultimately improve outcomes for all students, especially those who struggle to learn in school. Hatcher, with insights from the Council of Chief State School Officers and the National Collaborative in Inclusive Principal Leaders, created a new beautiful, accessible, and easy-to-navigate website for the Council of Chief State School Officers to provide guidance to state education agencies about cultivating principals who help students with disabilities succeed in school. The new site features practical guidance, strategies and resources for state educators.
